COMMERCIAL SERVICES / LOGOS + BRAND DESIGN

Help people see where they are—and where to go.

Environmental graphics must be readable from real distances and useful within a real space. A screen-sized design does not prove either.

ENGAGEMENTProject based / scoped to your brief
01 / WHAT THE PRODUCT DELIVERS

Brand in the Built Environment

Design brand graphics for spaces, trade shows and customer touchpoints.

  • 01

    Spatial graphic and wayfinding concept

  • 02

Defined sign or display artwork set

  • 03

    Placement and scale references

  • 04

    Fabrication-ready handoff files

02 / THE WORKING METHOD

Built to create
a useful change.

Design reviews use viewing-distance and decision-point scenarios, connecting visual hierarchy to how the environment will actually be navigated.

01 / READ THE SPACE

Read the space

Map viewing distance, traffic flow, surfaces, and key decisions.

02 / DESIGN THE GRAPHIC SYSTEM

Design the graphic system

Resolve hierarchy, direction, identity, and placement.

03 / PREPARE THE HANDOFF

Prepare the handoff

Create the agreed artwork and fabrication specification notes.

03 / SCOPE BEFORE PRICE

Three levels.
One clearly defined brief.

The rate-card scope factors are shown below. Client complexity is applied separately.

Focused / ×1

Focused scope

One focused signage or environmental-graphics brief.

Expanded / ×1.8

Expanded scope

A coordinated set across more locations within a defined environment.

Complex / ×3.2

Complex scope

A complex space or event system with multiple sign types, stakeholders, and production constraints.

04 / TUNE THE BRIEF

See how the scope
changes the investment.

A planning range using the same rate card as the full DOC N.I.L. calculator.

Client complexity and scope are separate factors. The written proposal confirms the level that matches your brief.

05 / THE ACCEPTANCE GATE

Know what good
looks like.

Check legibility assumptions, destination consistency, placement logic, and fabrication-file completeness.

ILLUSTRATIVE APPLICATION / NOT A CLIENT RESULT

ILLUSTRATIVE APPLICATION

A trade-show stand can use coordinated overhead, directional, and product graphics without making every surface compete for attention.

06 / PRICE GUARDS

Protect the scope.
Protect the result.

Outside this product unless agreed.

  • Site surveying, engineering, permitting, and accessibility certification are separate.
  • Fabrication, installation, and materials are separate.
  • Additional sites and unplanned sign types require separate scope.

No hidden expansion.

The proposal confirms quantities, review rounds, locations, versions, and the service period. Additional work receives a written change scope before it starts.

8% G&A is additional. Third-party costs and applicable tax are confirmed separately. Estimates are planning ranges, not a booking or a guarantee of results.

Before we begin.

How is this engagement scoped?

The rate is per project. One focused signage or environmental-graphics brief. The proposal fixes quantities, schedules, review rounds, and delivery specifications before work begins.

What is priced separately?

Site surveying, engineering, permitting, and accessibility certification are separate. Fabrication, installation, and materials are separate. Additional sites and unplanned sign types require separate scope. Any change outside the approved scope is priced before it proceeds.

07 / CONNECTED PRODUCTS

Build the next part.

Separate products. Connected when the brief calls for them.
